Four Local Students Win Baldwin EMC Youth Tour

Four local high school juniors were recently named the winners of Baldwin EMC's Youth Tour. They are Pete Lewandowski and Gerson Tunek of Robertsdale High School, Keaton Taylor of Fairhope High School, and Cole Manders of Spanish Fort High School.
Representatives from the cooperative surprised the students with the good news at their respective schools on Monday, February 14.
These students will participate in all expense paid trips to Montgomery, Ala. in March and Washington, D.C. in June. The trips will provide an up close look at the inner workings of our state and national capitals, along with visits to historical sites and interactions with local and national legislators.
The teachers or counselor of each winning student will receive classroom supplies for serving as faculty sponsors. They are Sonnie Coleman and Shannon McCurdy from Robertsdale High School, Karen Myrick from Fairhope High School, and Leigh Cleveland from Spanish Fort High School.
